I carried around a few logs for about 30 years and finally decided to convert the fireplace from wood burrs to gas logs in our present hope and needed thread sealant. This tape seems to have nailed it, and for about $4 I got a lot more than I'll ever need. I have very little room to move around and a running gas line isn't that difficult to install, but removing it to get to a leaky joint is a hassle, so I used lots of wraps on each thread to stop make sure i did it. I don't have to crawl there to do it again. It's a lot easier to work with than the goop and brush I've used before, which are pretty hard in the container. So if I need more tape in the years to come, this can still be used.
