I love this camera! Our daughter is one year old and I'm tired of all the crappy photos my old camera takes so we decided to look for a new one before her birthday and I'm so glad we chose this one! I was worried we wouldn't get it on time because it had such a long arrival date, but we got it on time just a week after we ordered it. I'm not very tech savvy so I was a bit skeptical about being able to run something with that many features, but I found it pretty easy for something this advanced. The features it offers are amazing! There's a "pet portrait" that automatically takes a picture when you point it at the animal - every other digital, phone, and disposable camera I've photographed my dog with leaves his eyes with white highlights, but this one does takes a very detailed and sharp picture no glare! There is a "smile" feature that will automatically take a picture if you point it at a person and they smile, which is really nice because when you have kids you know every smile matters and we do want to capture - the flash is very fast and I love that there is NO LAG. It blinks once and takes a picture while blinking so she doesn't have time to react and close her eyes :) I can't tell you how many pictures we have of her with her eyes closed or squinting! It has an automatic "red eye fix" that saves me a lot of time when viewing and printing images. It has a feature you can set up to take pictures in black and white, red, or gray, which is cool when I'm taking a picture and their outfit conflicts with someone's clothing (I could never do that, you can always make image print in black and white, but this will save you time). This camera has an excellent zoom that doesn't compromise image quality or sharpness no matter how far you zoom. It comes with a rechargeable lithium battery which saves us a lot of money because we make tons of pictures and use a lot of AA batteries which are not cheap. You can also record videos and the auto-stabilization feature is really impressive. It's not a setting you have to turn on, it just happens automatically and it makes a big difference. Out of curiosity, I photographed some of the decorations with this camera and our old one, and the difference between them is just amazing! This camera takes stunning photos that are crisp, clear, bright and overall really great quality. My only regret is that I didn't order this camera sooner. I am a very conservative spender and this is MONEY SPENT CALCULATED!
