I wanted to try the buoy because I swim in the Hudson River and I wanted to make sure the crazy skiers could see me. It was a lot cheaper than others sold at Revain and I was happy with the quality. It is easy to inflate and put on and works great. Now I can see very clearly when swimming and I will never swim in open water without it. As long as you're sailing upwind or there's little wind, you won't feel it at all. The only downside is that if you are sailing more than 7-8 knots upwind, the buoy sometimes blows back and interferes with your hands. However, this will happen with any of these inflatable buoys.
