Very easy patina to use. I didn't use their reactive paint, I just applied it directly to brass and copper. This is quick and easy, but the blue is lighter than the blue. That might be fine for some purposes, but I like the ammonia evaporation process that produces a darker, richer blue. You simply place the product in a sealed container of ammonia, but support it so it doesn't touch the ammonia. This product works better in patches or with some sanding to highlight the metal than a uniform finish. This product has a beautiful light blue color if that is what you are looking for and even better when mixed with green.
