Review on Ztylus Stinger USB Emergency Escape Tool: Life-Saving Rescue Car Charger by Chad Gue

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fits snugly in cigarette lighter socket

The most concerning thing I saw in the reviews was a possible loose fit in the cigarette lighter socket and the possibility of it flying out in the event of an accident. I don't have this problem with an older Subaru, Lexus or newer Honda and the fit is solid. The only minor issue is that the blocky rectangular top can be tricky for some cars: for example the Lexus lighter is recessed (under the dash when not in use) and the ashtray has to be removed to use this unit ( which is normal for me). since I never use an ashtray). The advantage of lighter/USB models is that you just leave it on and there is no reason to leave it out of reach in an emergency. A potential downside is that if anything is plugged into the USB port at this point, there's still a chance the Stinger will be unplugged from the cigarette lighter - weird things happen when it crashes, right? However. A test sheet for a spring loaded window punch is included (place this target on a piece of wood to test). I tested the blade with a backpack strap. All is well. USB ports work fine (no fast charging, normal voltage). Competitive price. No battery and no flashlight (usually double the price).
