My dog has worn this collar for about 6 months. This is his first collar and I think it's held up pretty well for a puppy. I bought the royal blue color and it's getting a little dirty but I haven't tried to wash it yet. The neoprene is split on the inside so sometimes it rolls over the collar, but I guess I could just cut it off. The buckle is sturdy, as well as the D ring. It's held up well on walks, he's a puller sometimes and is about 50 lbs. It's a good collar for the price. It's a nice width on my dogs neck. The only thing that is weird is that my dogs hair sticks to the inside when he sheds, so the inside of the collar is covered in loose hairs. I don't know if that would be a problem with long haired dogs, but short hairs seem to stick like Velcro. I would buy another collar, as well as the matching leash. I like that there isn't any big logos. Just a nice plain collar.
