This stand really gets the job done. If you don't want to spend a lot of money then get this. To be honest you can't really trust the bad reviews for this product because they just treat this product to the maximum. broken belt, right? Or bikes fall, right? 1: To even break the straps, pull them too hard, causing the straps to break. 2: bike waste, wrong installation. Just use common sense when installing this product and bikes. If you have common sense, this product will work for you. For a better grip, simply apply tape to the two hooks on the trunk and fasten/tighten the straps enough so that the rack does not wobble or move up and down. Also, the pedals don't even touch my rear bumper, so whoever claims that has to remount the rack or their bike. To continue this review I have two fixed gear single speed bikes. Did a bit of driving and had no problems. I am also sure that this product can make it over a longer distance. Again, be careful not to handle this product and use common sense.
