This is my first ChromeBook. I bought it for my wife as a gift for working with email and surfing the web, which ChromeBooks are supposedly designed for. This is normal, but slow even for a ChromeBook, and the Chrome browser has a habit of unexpectedly and inexplicably freezing for 10-30 seconds from time to time. However, the screen is sharp and bright, and the keyboard is solid. As for Chrome OS itself, it's fine, but we hate Gmail. It took a little while to figure out how to run ThunderBird on it, but we made it.
