They were purchased on August 19th and I was very happy with them because I like to mix different things in my water and it was perfect because the bottle comes apart for washing. They worked great until September 16th. I dropped one of these about 3 feet onto the kitchen floor which is a faux wood floor and it cracked on top rendering it unusable. It landed on its side and then bounced back onto the neck, so the crackle is pretty disappointing as is. It won't survive a fall on concrete. I think if you buy them I would tie them to your wrist or line them with foam in case you drop them.
