Does its job well
Really improves the sound of vinyl records. It's hard to quantify, but the sound quality feels warmer and fuller. The assembly is not bad, very solid and well finished. My only caveat is that you use well shielded speaker wire and if your phonograph has a ground wire, use it. Without this, the box buzzes audibly when you increase the volume of your AV receiver.
