Review on πŸƒ Enhance Your Running Experience with the Garmin GPS Forerunner 910XT Quick Release Kit by Alex Webster

Skip if you already have a front bike mount

I use the Edge800 on my bike with the "out front" bike mount I bought from k-edge (similar to Garmin and others). The 910XT quick release kit has a bracket that is 90 degrees offset from the Edge 800. So when I try to transfer the 910XT to my current mount, the screen is on its side in the locked state. And of course it's useless during a race. I think I could use the rubber band bike mounts that came with it, but I don't trust them to be reliable. And after reading someone else's experience of losing hours swimming, I don't want to risk it either. I'll try to return this one and if it doesn't work out I'll throw it in the trash (or find a good deal with someone). I also didn't like the bulky feel, the kit made it protrude too much for my liking (probably a minor issue as I might get used to it).
