I mainly use Gutermann yarn for a number of reasons: - Gives much less lint than many other brands (Coats & Clark in particular) - This cotton yarn is smooth and doesn't frizz does not stretch when hand sewn like I have experienced with others. - If for some reason your tension isn't too tight, this thread doesn't have much breakage like I've experienced with other brands. - The thread glides through the fabric more smoothly than other brands I've come across - The threads are supplied on a spool that fits in standard sewing machine thread holders.
