Excellent and easy lock. Picked up army BCT and was perfect. Has to struggle with sub-zero temperatures. For military things. this is a lock. However, if you have ten seconds to get to your gear, I find this to be the best type of lock. No searching for a key hidden somewhere with you (which everyone seems to lose), no turning the chamber combination lock. Thanks to this combination lock, I have quick access to my gear. In the cold I used one of these to latch the outside barn door. After not opening it for 2 months and spending the last week in freezing temperatures when I opened the lock I struggled for a minute while it closed I think it was a bit frozen. It opened about 2 minutes after you picked it up and pulled on it. Finally, the Set Your Own Combination feature was very simple. It comes with a key that is only used to set the combination. The key only enters when the lock is unlocked by the current combination. Don't lose the key if you want to change the combination in the future.
