Kind of cheap and flimsy; may burst at any time
This is normal. You will do it as a last resort. It's extremely thin plastic that covers their freezing liquid and just doesn't look like the most durable ice pack. I'm sure they will explode or leak in a few months. I was kind of afraid to pick them up unless the contents were frozen because I knew they might leak. It's like the cheap plastic on toys you can buy at the dollar store. Not very impressed but I think I should have expected it for the price.
