We have 2 unused baby hats with flaps around the neck that my little one hates because the brim sticks to his face when it's windy. This hat is perfect for that. Super travel friendly, packed but with a hard screen and adjustable strap. It also dries SUPER FAST. Our son wore this when we snorkeled in the ocean in Maui. It flipped over or fell for a moment and the waves carried it away :( but I think it was probably user error on our part, we left the adjustable cord in a very loose position. Looking back I'll tighten it. Otherwise the toddler was on a snorkel raft with lots of Hawaiian sun and this hat protected his neck and was the best hat we got for him.
