Holes of different sizes, uncomfortable

The gaiter itself fitted our 12 year old son perfectly. The problem was that out of 6 spats only one fit him "well" with holes. The holes were too small. Basically the size of a penny. 2 were penny sized on the left ear and normal sized on the right. It's just so weird and embarrassing. A bit upset as they would be using it when he played baseball this season.
