A great novelty if you have a sense of humor. I do. I hung three of these on the ceiling of our living room - we have a very high ceiling. I found small pirate figurines on Revane and fashioned them into baskets. I welded two figures to make them softer and hold one by the rope and the other climb into the basket as if the basket took off without them. Other figures watch below with their swords and knives. These guys have become part of the family and my daughter sometimes greets them when she gets up in the morning. The balloons are high quality - one fell 10ft, bounced off and was not injured. My wife was a bit hesitant to put these things up but she came and our guests loved her. They create a fun atmosphere which I like. They might fit better in a child's room, but I've never grown up, so they suit me.
