I bought this fan for installation in a remote cabin and I have to say the installation was ridiculously easy After installing Minka Aire A245-BS (sloped ceiling adapter for my 8/12 sloped ceiling), I assembled the fan (no fan blades), bottom shaft and Minka Aire K9515-1 lighting kit while on the base block, and hung in the ceiling adapter which allowed me to finish the electrical connections of the fan, I had to put a weight on one of the blades to make it spin without hesitation (5-10 minutes) but I'm really happy with the fan (the Cabin is powered by a Honda 2000 generator).
