I bought this valve stem seal remover thinking it would be "once and done" as I probably won't be replacing valve stem seals any time soon. But the packaging says it's for spring clip removal, and boy is it doing a great job with it! I've used it on several hose clamps when assembling an engine and it's far better than regular pliers for the job. Curved jaws help hold the hose clamp so it doesn't slip out easily.
