Once installed this mount is solid. Without installation, it was rigid and not easy to articulate. But after installation it works fine. This gives users the flexibility to customize the best viewing experience for them. The ability to continuously rotate 360 degrees is great. Easy cable management with Velcro (not included). With the rubber pads, it was a bit difficult to figure out which set would work best for my application. I don't use a case and have a tempered glass screen protector for a 10 inch Android tablet. The tablet is securely attached and does not wobble when locked in place. I grabbed the sides of the tablet and it was harder to move. I suspect that jerking or pulling with a heavy hand could damage the tablet. Just teach users how to move properly. Fortunately, a small number of people use it. people, not the general public. Highly recommended.
