Review on DF51-01 PLA 3D Printer Filament by Dremel by Shaun Bushey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

. Dremel Idea Builder 3D45 and the results were great! Standard 3D45 coils come with RFID.

We've had great results with the Dremel Idea Builder 3D45! The standard 3D45 spools come with RFID, so the settings are made automatically as soon as they are inserted into the printer. Since they didn't have the mentioned RFID tag, the printer asked me to select the material type and then various other settings for the material like extruder temperature, heatbed temperature, etc. This was not a problem and I was able to control everything. . on the printer itself or in the Dremel Slicing software or in the printer's online interface. The product has been properly vacuumed and packaged with desiccant. out of habit; After opening, I "put the filament in my homemade dry box" (a semi-sealed box with loose heights) to allow them to properly cure and remove moisture, but this probably isn't needed right out of the seal. The material was put into the printer in a day or two and there was no output. It was hard to find "something" wrong; The only thing that came to my mind is that the real spool that the line is on doesn't have any "holes" or gaps in the spoke areas, unlike the 3D45 counterparts. This makes it difficult to remove the spool from the printer's built-in spool holder. I have big hands so couldn't grab the edge to take it off, so all I had to do was stick a wooden stick in and move/pull the spool a bit to get the grip. Overall nothing to worry about, but something that got me during one of those "Ah-ha!" moments. Overall great product and price and I will continue to buy these filament spools. They work great and can't recommend it enough!
