This is exactly what I needed to do the hemline on my bridesmaid dress. I consider myself a somewhat experienced seamstress (I wouldn't call myself a seamstress by any means) and figured this product out fairly easily. I ran a few test skeins on the cut fabric and figured out how to roll up the fabric and hold it at an angle. Even with practice, the fabric unfolded and my hem eventually straightened. I didn't expect it to be perfect so I just went along with it and tried to fix it as best as I could. I will use it again in the future and hopefully get a little better. The presser foot attached easily to my brother's sewing machine, so that's a plus.
