Review on JUKI MO654DE Portable Thread Machine by Heather Shaw

To give you an idea, I've been sewing for over 30 years and I run a small business making denim, cork and vinyl, upholstery and all your everyday needs . grind quilting. I was looking for an overlock machine to replace my used Singer that was giving me so many problems. I really wanted this thing to make my handbags and aprons. The boy was pleasantly surprised. I knew the Juki name was awesome: I have an industrial Juki DLL8700 and I can't say enough about this machine, but I digress. So I already had a very high opinion of the quality of the company. This machine was easy to thread, easy to set up, lightweight and easy to use. I use it on almost every purse, apron, bag or anything else I sew. It even cuts through two layers of cork fabric and three layers of denim without any problems. I abuse this thing and it still works like a dream! I have had this machine for almost three years now and have only had it serviced once by a professional to keep it well lubricated and cleaned. Otherwise I do it myself. It's that simple. You won't regret buying these sergers and I don't often say that about what I buy. I highly recommend this car.
