I have a Revain Kindle DX and sometimes I like to read before bed. I like to use a light for books so as not to disturb my husband while he sleeps. I received a book lamp with a Kindle for Christmas which broke 2-3 days after receipt. It was cheap plastic so I wanted something more durable and hopefully not broken within 2-3 days of receipt. I bought this item because I liked the idea of the light being able to spread out and illuminate more of the surface and also that it had a magnet to hold the light. When I got the lamp, I first noticed that it is quite bright for a halfway small book lamp. When I attached the magnet to the DX, the light was too heavy to even leave. It's constantly moving, making it almost impossible to use. If you are reading while sitting and need to move the light every time you turn around, this article is useless. So let's go back to the drawing board to find another light source. This light might fit in a regular book, but not in a Kindle. I would not recommend purchasing this item for use with Kindle DX.
