I installed these lights on my 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I broke a plastic fender flare while playing in the woods, so I thought I liked the way the jeep looked without the flares. Instead of cutting out the side turn signals, I replaced them with these little guys. I had to drill out one of the factory holes a bit wider with a step drill, but that was pretty easy. The smoky look looks way better than the amber light. But when the light is activated, it gives off a slightly light amber color. Good enough light day and night to show you are signalling. Since I installed them they have been in the water with no problems. They appear to be well protected from water and dirt.
