I used this power supply to power my Zebra thermal label printers. If it can do that, it can power some LED lights no problem!You would think that a label printer would not take that much power. That is not the case for the Zebra thermal label printers (GX420 and GX430). They take every bit of 4.5 amps at 24 volts. I'm amazed at just how much power they use compared to most of my other gadgets, and I test a lot of gadgets here at GadgetClass.I have tried a wide array of universal power supplies on these printers to no avail. This power supply did the trick. I only had to use an adapter from one of my universal power supplies to make it work.This is a full switching, laptop grade power supply. It will give clean power to any device you throw at it. If it can power the Zebra Printer, it can power your chain of LED lights no problem.
