Before buying I read many reviews about these curtains. I have previously purchased similar curtains from Bed, Bath & Beyond and was very disappointed when they didn't work so I was a little skeptical they would be any different. But I figured hundreds of 5 star reviews couldn't be wrong - and they aren't. They do exactly what they say - block the light completely and help deaden the sound. I live next to a busy highway and as soon as I hung it up it seemed like the highway was far away. I track my sleep every night and since I got these curtains my sleep quality has gone from 60%-70% to over 90% every night. Highly recommended!
