Lightweight smooth paper
I haven't started using these yet besides some initial page numbering, but first impressions. The paper in these is cream-colored. It is smooth (hot press?), not a lot of tooth, and feels similar to your standard notebook or loose leaf. My black gel ink doesn't bleed through, but is visible from the opposite side. These may be a good choice for a written journal, but probably would not be satisfying to an artist looking for a small bound sketchbook.

- It may not have a separate area for taking down notes
