The instructions on this page were wrong, but I found others online who helped me program the fob only to find that it was unresponsive at all. I thought I might like the new keychain so I went that route - it was a mistake. I then replaced and successfully programmed the battery on my old fob, as well as another new fob, so this is clearly not user error. I even tried replacing the battery in case it was a random error, but that didn't work either (tried at least a dozen times and got others on the first try). Don't waste your time with this. Item that is non-refundable. It's better to burn the dollars and save time and effort, to be honest.
