(picture is missing two sidebands, please don't use this picture as a reference) I'm taking it as a life lesson, but those 2mm are either a bit thicker than 2mm or simply so as not to compress, like Gelid Extreme. I spent 12 hours fixing the "GPU hotspot temp" which went up to 105C and it turns out it was because they were being used for VRAM on the die side. For the back, they seem to work well. For the GPU die-side, I recommend using Gelid 2mm Extreme or maybe Thermalright 1.5mm Extreme (I haven't tested it at this point). Now waiting for Gelid 2mm Extreme. I replaced a few pads with 1.5mm Gelid Extreme which got me functional again, slightly better than the OEM.
