I like that this lighter is rechargeable. It works great for my oven that doesn't have pilots. The curved neck makes it easy to get a spark close to the gas while keeping my hand away. And I don't have to deal with butane refills or buying disposable lighters. The only downside I have is that if the lighter doesn't turn off, the battery will keep burning. I had a lighter in a mug with some paraphernalia. Sometimes when someone was putting the dishes back, she would turn on the switch. Next time I try to use it it will be dead. After finding out the reason, I put the lighter back into the cup so that the spark part sticks out. Now the switch won't turn on accidentally. Small problem but I have another lighter brand that doesn't have this problem. Even if the switch is on, it goes into standby mode. Thus, the battery may be discharged, but it still has a charge. It's guaranteed to die if left on overnight. If you turn it off after each use, that's great!
