I bought one of these to replace my aging first generation Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet. I was torn between Asus MeMo Pad 8 and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. While Samsung has better specs, it also costs twice as much as Asus, which is why I bought Asus. I have to say that I am very satisfied with the MeMo Pad 8. It's a lot lighter and faster than my old 10 inch Samsung, so I've found myself carrying it around more often. The only thing that bothered me when I first turned on the Asus was that the screen seemed pretty blurry compared to the Samsung. I was very disappointed with this until I found out that you can go to an Asus app called Splendid and adjust the color temperature, hue and saturation. It worked - the screen is beautiful now. I find that 16GB is enough space to store my videos and photos, but if I need more space, Asus accepts a micro SD card. This is a real plus. Overall, I'm very happy with the Asus MeMO Pad 8 and highly recommend it.
