This is a great looking decal. It is not difficult to apply if you ignore the instruction order. Apply the main decal and then work outwards so you can keep the edges aligned. Be gentle and don't pull hard on the film.I was concerned a little because the picture showed it on a "smoke" color background but the colors are so vivid I worked well on a white wall. I am not sure about a dark wall.
