Worked on my Cisco SG300 when 10Gtek failed
Some Cisco switches have an override to allow them to work with 'unsupported' transceivers, but these are only high-end switches. This appeared in the Admin > Diagnostics > Optical Module Status UI SG-300 10 without rebooting.
