UPDATE #1: So I've been using this coolant for about 3-4 weeks and so far so good. The coverage is still good though. I saw a thin white film like substance inside the tank where the level dropped over time. I was able to easily wipe it off with a Q-tip. This was noticed about 1 week ago and hasn't been fixed since. If all goes well I'll drain the system in 2 months to check the CPU and GPU blocks. Below is my first review. UPDATE #2: It's been almost 2 months now and there is still very little rainfall which I have to say is impressive for any opaque coolant. I didn't have high hopes having used Thermaltake Pastel formulas in the past but I really like this new product. If I had 4-5 months between coats I would definitely try a different color. The obvious downside is the price. I think it should be about $10 cheaper. UPDATE #3: Rejection after 3 months. All PETG tubing shows significant haze/deposit. Thermaltake claims it's a powder-free coolant, but that's what precipitation looks like. This isn't my first rodeo with opaque coolant and I know what to look out for. The temperatures seem to have increased slightly after the stress test, but nothing out of the ordinary. Definitely not that I'm letting go and getting worse. So 3 months is a good time for single color coolants, but there's still nothing I can confidently call sustainable. I will be writing this review in three parts which I will edit over the next few weeks. Part 1 will be my first impressions. So Thermal's advertisers think it's a newer version of the C1000 coolant, which they made before I actually tried it. The C1000 had several major problems. It only lasted about 1 month in my system before it started separating and leaving a chalky residue all over my loop. This P1000 is reportedly a brand new formula that doesn't use a powder base to create color. It's also advertised as having a low surface tension formula that moves much more freely around the loop and eliminates air pockets. I can confirm both points, yes, when filling the circuit it moved very quickly compared to other coolants and had almost no problems with air pockets and bubbles. And I took a sample of the coolant aside and filtered it to see if there was any powder or colored particles that I didn't find. I can't say it doesn't leave marks or clogs on the road, but it's definitely powder-free, which hopefully means it will last longer and not fall out like most opaque coolants. It's a pale white color but definitely opaque. At the moment, its cooling abilities are almost on par with any others I've tried, so no complaints. In a few weeks I will update this review with any new information regarding coolant failures or negative results. I give 4 stars as a placeholder and also because I don't think the bottle is filled with 1000ml. Compared to other bottles I've had, this one seems to be a little under 900ml or so. I said I would never buy Thermaltake coolant again after trying their previous C1000 formula but after seeing some reviews and videos of this new product I decided to give it a try because I really like a white coolant with longer lasting need lifetime. We will see.
