Review on ๐Ÿงน 6-Pack Reusable Wet Mop Pads for iRobot Braava Jet 240 241 by Yvette Gonzalez

Excellent pads. Universal.

It seems that all brands of this type of gaskets are based on the same material. They are probably all from the same manufacturer. They all work very well. They don't crumble when wiping, dirt sticks and they hardly leave any moisture behind. What I particularly like about this brand is that the piece of plastic they attach to connects them to the Brava mop. Velcro, and not permanently attached (sewn or glued). This has three advantages: I. The plastic part does not have to go in the washing machine with the pillow. As a result, they're likely to last longer (less wear and tear that can cause cracking or bending).2. I hope that also means less production of microplastics. Of course, no one will return to my groundwater. But I hope and fewer flights in the air. And of course, a longer shelf life means less plastic going to landfill.3. The spray pattern for the Brava is controlled by the cutout pattern on the plastic piece attached to the pad. One stencil will produce a spray with more water, another with less water, and one with no water (similar to a dust mop). When using a store-bought set where the plastic piece is permanently attached to the pad, I only use two pads when I need more spray before I have to stop washing them. If I use these pads instead, since the plastic part is removable, I can leave the plastic part attached to the blue pad on the machine (blue = more spray) and just cycle through all 6 pads, meaning I can wipe more before I do must clean. The pads differ only in the color and pattern of the recess on the plastic base. So I just used a marker to mark the plastic so I know which gives what type of spray and I'm home free.
