It took me a few months to find steps 1-3 but I'm glad I found it! I had adjustable standard dumbbells with plates and rotating collars before I got powerhouses. It has changed the way I can work. The weight can be changed on the fly, making them great for drop sets or just adjusting the weight between sets. With my old db it took me 45 seconds to 1 minute to change the weight. With power blocks, this takes about 2 seconds. Your convenience means better performance and for me it's worth my money. They're also sturdy with strong welds and I'm sure they won't break even if I treat them a little rough. It's a bit different than a traditional DB in that the weight is balanced, but that's not a complaint, just an observation. If you are serious about lifting weights and looking for adjustable DBs, I highly recommend them.
