Review on 🏃 Westin Running Board Mount Kit 27-1835 by Christian Barnes

Mounting kit bolted very well to my 2010 Acadia but with 72" boards they are about 4 feet apart. Since I'm 200 pounds, the boards bend in the middle when you step on them. Between these brackets (in the middle) is another hole for attaching the frame and my mechanic tried a bracket in it (on the back), it fitted fine. Westin could have added another mount to reduce board flex for those of us who are "big men". I have a problem that one side is lower than the other (3/8 inch) and the fender is cracking, the so called westin. I mentioned the 3rd mount and flex first, they think it's fine the way it is... BTW, I've contacted Westin a few times about seating and driver's side panel rattling, asked to email and then to send pictures, it has been 3 months since last contact and sent photos, still no response or solution from them The last contact confirmed they have the information, I was told that they have sent it to another department (from customer service to the technical department), it was in May and now in September ... no answer yet. I would consider a company other than Westin for accessories as they have very little response if you have a problem with their products and they do not call back or confirm the information requested. If it weren't for a small woman (4ft 10in) with spinal stenosis who needed her because of the height of the car and I had paid the shop to install her, they would be gone. Buy anything but Westin unless you care that they don't answer you or help you with their products when you have a problem.
