I have 2 monitors and a laptop on my desk. First, I placed the ionizer about two meters away from me. In less than a minute I was able to "feel" the ions. You don't smell them, but the feeling is like the cold air that hits you at the San Francisco airport as you step off the plane. However, after a few minutes both monitors started turning on and off. I moved the ionizer back about ten feet. Likewise, both monitors turn off about once a minute. I moved the ionizer to another room where it is now about 30 feet away. The monitors stay on now, BUT. the next morning the laptop wouldn't start anymore. It was enabled but resisted all reboot attempts. I pressed the button to turn it off. The logo was displayed but not loaded. I suspected he was charging a fee, but decided to take it to a repair shop anyway. I put my laptop on her table. The technician pressed the button and indeed it started immediately. Now I'm in limbo. I liked the feeling of "freshness" in the air, but there are concerns that it might affect my laptop. I'm eagerly making a backup before turning the ionizer back on.
