As a jeweler I needed a good power supply for copper and silver plating, electro etching and electroplating small items (up to 10 square inches). I also use it as a power source for plugging in small electronic circuits (5V or less). My main concern was the repeatability of the controls. The device works great and I really like that I can set the voltage precisely and limit the current. As a result, I can adjust the volts/amps based on the surface of the item being coated, molded or etched to get better results. I strongly recommend this device.
