Our rescue required an extensive surgery on his neck area, where two benign cysts were removed. We were totally unprepared for his aftercare, as the incisions were quite large and in an area that made it impossible to put a collar on him to be able to guide him outdoors. I tried multiple harnesses and sent each one back, as most of these products do not show accurate photos of how they actually fit a dog- but this one crosses his back low enough that it doesn't come close to the sutures. I tried a sling lift before this arrived and you simply do not have enough control of your dog using them. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is dealing with surgery aftercare, or just looking for a well made harness that is so easy to put on and comfortable.
