the color is exactly as it appears. My daughter loves puppies on her dress. I like that the label is just a sticker so it doesn't rub against it. I like the fabric too. I love that it has a real fabric design and not just a sticker that rubs off. I ordered a size 4t for my daughter who currently wears a 2t and she can fit it now and hopefully next year!
