Just finished this weekend. I made all the cuts ahead of time and then followed the directions to build the swing. I did it without help, but there were a few parts that were difficult without help. If I wasn't 6ft 5in I would have had trouble getting the main beam up the fort. Cost me between 650 and 700โฌ. I bought all the wood from the local lumber yard that I use and ordered delivery (400). The slide is $100 and $50-$100 for screws (external screws aren't cheap). I highly recommend checking the wood at a lumber store rather than big stores. They tend to have higher quality processed lumber and are fresher because they go through the lumber faster than they would in a home warehouse. I have a lot of construction experience so this was an easy project for me but an amateur dier or a beginner can do it. Deal with it. Cons (and 4 stars) - you're basically paying $100 for 3 swings, two brackets, directions and a couple of through bolts. Directions/plans are very good so I agree. - The slide costs $100, which is absurd. This is clearly the part where they make all their money. Everything is screwed together. It's ok, but I hate through bolts (and that's my main complaint about 4 stars). If I were to do it again I would attach everything with Simpson structural screws. Overall I am very happy with this product and would buy it again.
