This monitor is ideal as a second laptop display. The packaging was solid and impressive, and the contents were well organized. The monitor cover has a magnetic strip for quick release. I don't think this feature was not mentioned in the product description. I usually prefer clip-on cases for my tablets and I have found the magnetic cover for this monitor, which I currently have on my desk next to my laptop, much easier to use. The screen resolution is sharp and clear. I noticed that you need to use the power adapter that came with the monitor. I first used an AC adapter that was already plugged into a power strip and found that it wasn't providing enough power to run this monitor.
