I bought this product mainly for a dog that is a big-time puller. She's a 45 lb highly active dog that loves going in all directions. This product was great for her to stay close while sniffing around. because of how strong she can be, it does pull on the waistband a bit but is manageable; light pressure on the lower back. The elastic band is very sturdy to pull her back to center when she stops to sniff a spot.The only drawback I had was when running, the accompanying pouch bounced around quite a bit and would be uncomfortable in the front as it kept hitting off the groin area.But love the product so far!
