This is a good paint sprayer for small jobs and for not very viscous paint. It works very well for staining wood, like outside deck or a playhouse. It also works very well for putting on a layer of varnish as a surface finish. When I tried using it for a regular interior paint, I found that it was a little too thick. I had to keep adding water in order to thin it out. Without thinning, the sprayer did not have enough power to pull the paint out of the container. It comes with a special funnel that is used to determine if a paint is too thick. You pour paint into it and figure out how long it takes for it to empty. If it takes too long, you have to thin it out by either adding water or paint thinner. Once you get the correct paint consistency, this paint sprayer works very well.
