This item works great with Nintendo Switch. I'm not sure how long the battery lasts, but it lasts for a four hour session with Zelda. I usually charge it up when I'm done playing so it's ready for next time. If it ever runs out while I'm still gaming, I have Nintendo Switch controllers to fall back on.
