Works great when connected to a network.
When plugged into an outlet it works great. I bought it because it is wireless. We travel a lot in the desert with our RV and I need to add moisture to the air. Unfortunately, this device does not meet all requirements. In battery mode, it switches off after an hour, although there is still enough charge. It just doesn't work for what we need. Returned.
