Maybe I have a lemon EMI detector? Or is it really just a piece of plastic scrap? The best test to see if your EMI detector is working. Turn on the microwave. Last time I checked if all microwaves emit EMF. I became suspicious when I took the detector out of the box and the sensor started moving as I took it out of the box. It moves like a compass needle, no electricity and battery inside. Of course my suspicions were justified. I put a 9 volt battery in the unit and turned on the microwave. Not a single needle moved near or touched the microwave. This product is either a complete gimmick or I have a broken block. Definitely coming back! I won't buy another one to try.
