My previous chargers were bigger and heavier but this one might actually work better. The cables detach from the charger for easy storage in the fairly compact original packaging. To use, simply connect the cables to the charger and then to the battery. Charging is easy, just select the setting and let it charge. So far I've used this to efficiently charge an ATV and truck battery, both of which take minimal time, no more than an hour I'd say; which impressed me because it was almost cold and they hadn't been used in months. The alligator clips are very durable, more so than other chargers I've used, there were no cut corners in their construction. The whole device is also quiet when charging, which was not an advantage for me, but rather noticed positively. For the price, this charger is one of the best I've ever used and also one of the lightest and quietest chargers I've ever used. Overall it's simple and effective, just what you need in a charger.
